Make a difference at Ocean Palms Elementary- Volunteer!

Volunteer Information

Ocean Palms PTO has so many events and activities going on throughout the year that you don’t want to miss. Whether you want to give an hour or a day, there are plenty of volunteer opportunities to fit your schedule. They range from fundraising to educational to just fun nights out.

Ocean Palms Elementary  appreciates your desire to volunteer your time to our school and all of your volunteer efforts to help make our school a success! But, as we approach this unique school year due to Covid-19, some of our usual volunteer opportunities may be different or not available.  If you  are interested in becoming a volunteer, please  email our volunteer coordinator Claire Dickson at, and we can assist you as we know more about what opportunities will be available this year . If you are not registered to be a volunteer, please be sure to complete the clearance form below!

We look forward to hopefully meeting you at one of our events soon & thank you for all that you do!

Fill Out Your Volunteer School Access Form!

In a continuing effort to provide safety and security to our students and staff we ask that you complete a

School Access Form if you plan to enter a facility in the St. Johns County School District.

Any person passing beyond the front office area must show a valid driver’s license or state identification card.

It is recommended individuals include their middle name when completing the online

application; and, if no middle name, then please use the acronym “NMN”.

Why do I need to submit this form?

The county requires that you submit your name for an official background check conducted

by the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office and the National Sexual Offenders Database.
Did I already do this?

Your background check is good for 3 years.

If you have done this for another St. Johns County school within the last 3 years, you do NOT need to resubmit.
Please email Kerry Fodor with any questions regarding your School Access Form
